[Mod Request] Rebind Escape key to something else

I'm quite annoyed it's not possible to rebind the Escape key (pause menu / skip cutscenes) in the vanilla game, neither was I able to find any mods to do this. I was quite surprised as it seems like an obvious thing, but I don't know how difficult it would be to make such a mod.

 

Something like Tab would be loads nicer to use for those of us mouse+kb players.
