Want to make big windows addon

Hi,

First time modder here

I always found the windows selection in the game to be a bit small and the windows themselves to be small as well
what I wanted to do was get some windows in the game that were in more sizes and variations, ideally ones that could mimic the "weather" and "day / night cycle" affects as the original windows but ...that might be a bit much I don't know much about programming but I was able to design a window and replace one of the in game paintings to try it out. I'll be honest I don't really know where to start with this does anyone know how I could add more props to the original in game content and make the windows work too? I understand modding is a HUGE job and requires a lot of work and time but I really just need someone to point me in the right direction... thank you
