Help? Tired of smushing my face into the wall!

Recommended Posts

Hello again everyone :D This time, I am now having NV problems~~~~ WOOO... sigh. I just bought, as in today FONV-U off steam. Got it set up. Was having fun in vanilla for about two hours. Then suddenly anytime Id fire the game crashed. Anytime I went in a door, it crashed. Anytime I loaded a new cell, it froze. Locked my PC up 3 times as well. So.

Steps:

1: Used MO1 (Yes I know, I know.) It worked! With NVSE, the 4gb file, and the batch fix because the game refused to see itself as installed, despite BEING installed.

2: Game started crashing bad. Did --3-- complete reinstall/uninstall-registry purges/file deletions. Found out MO2 was a thing. Got it.

3: Installed mods, and game started breaking again, still having hidden files in AppData I missed.

4: 4th total purge, burn reinstall and reboot.

5: I have just reinstalled the game, ran the batch patch fix, the 4gb address and have nvse installed. No other mods nor have I loaded MO2 up yet.

Please help me not fail auuuugh.

Included screens of the mods I want to use. Got MO2 and BOSS, Someone help me figure out what ones I can use/correct order/I think some of them duplicate each other?

Sigh. And no 'Use Vortex' is not a reply. I tried it and did not understand it because I am a simpleton with a 4 INT and 4 PER.

Please see the 'Vanilla Load Order' entry in the 'First Timer Advice' section; and the 'Common Game Problems' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article.

If the problem persists, then see either the 'Solutions to Starting the game problems' or the 'Solutions to "Crash To Desktop" (CTD) problems' sections in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

I recommend anyone read the entire "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with; especially if this is your first attempt to play a modded FNV or it's been more than a year since you last did so.
