WizardLizard420 Posted May 18, 2019 Share Posted May 18, 2019 This is my first time with NMM so apologies if there is something obvious I am missing. I normally find the mods I want in the main menu, but not all the mods I want are in there, so I came here and installed a few of the mods I want. My problem is, they won't activate. When I go to the mod section in the pause menu it shows that the mods are there, yet not enabled, so I go to the mod section in the main menu to see if I can enable them there but they don't show up at all. thumbincubation Posted May 18, 2019 Share Posted May 18, 2019 You are missing Wrye Bash. The in-game mods section, in my opinion, is a 3 ring circus. Once I installed Wrye Bash, I have never looked back. Simple click the check-box, to activate. Drag/drop to reorder. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Panruru Posted May 19, 2019 Share Posted May 19, 2019 Are you using NMM or Vortex? Vortex can be a little annoying when you're still learning how to use it, but I highly recommend you do. If you are using NMM you must install and activate those mods you downloaded from Nexus from within NMM. I have never used mods from Bethesda that are downloaded from within the in game menu so have no idea how those mods will act with mods downloaded from Nexus.
