Request For A Simple Mod

There is absolutely no reason not the install any of the "script extension" tools. These add "functionality" to the game engine desired by mod authors which are not provided by Bethesda. They are only used by mods that require them, and those mods will not work correctly without them. When required they should be listed in the "requirements" section of the description, or somewhere in the description text itself. Install NVSE first, then JIP, and then any others. See the "Checklist Item #4' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

You do want to "track" them on Nexus so you are informed when they get updated. This does happen fairly frequently as "JIP LN NVSE Plugin" (at least) gets new functions in response to mod author requests.
