Exporting FROM Vortex TO NMM?

I know you can import from NMM to Vortex, but can you do the opposite? I really miss being able to choose what files are overwritten when one mod is overwriting a previous mod. Say if I want the trees from one floral mod, but the flowers from a different floral mod; I can't do that in Vortex, right? You just get to choose which mod is loaded first if there's a conflict.

Then you'll LOVE what Vortex can do.

With Vortex, instead of having to install the Trees from one floral mod, but the flowers from a different floral mod, and making sure you install them in the correct order so NMM physically overwrites the files, so if you screw up, you have to uninstall BOTH mods and install them in a different order, with Vortex, you can install them both, then when Vortex tells you there's a file conflict, you just tell Vortex to load the FLOWER mod, AFTER the Tree mod.

How you do it with NMM

You want Tree Mod Trees, and Flower Mod flowers, and you want Flower Mod Flowers to overwrite any Flowers from Tree Mod.

Install TREE MOD, then Install Flower Mod, so Flower Mod overwrites Flowers from Tree mod

If you install in the wrong order, you uninstall BOTH, and do it again.

IN Vortex.

1. Install Tree Mod, then Install Flower mod, doesn't matter which order.

2. Vortex will now say there's a Mod conflict between Tree Mod and Flower Mod.

3. Click on MORE, then SHOW, Vortex will show Tree and Flower Mod Conflicting, with LOAD BEFORE and LOAD AFTER options for both Flower and Tree mod.

4. Since you want TREES from Tree Mod, and you want FLOWERS to overwrite any Flowers from TREE mod, you tell Vortex to either Load Tree mod BEFORE Flower mod (which means Tree mods flowers will be overwritten by Flower mods flowers), or Load Flower Mod AFTER Tree mod (which means Flower Mod will overwrite Tree Mods Flowers) (Which is EXACTLY the same thing)

The nice thing here is, if you mess up and accidentally have Tree Mod overwrite Flower Mod Flowers, instead of having to uninstall BOTH mods and try again, you can just change the LOAD BEFORE and LOAD AFTER rules, and Vortex will restore, and Overwrite the correct files for you.

IN a nutshell

NMM

Tree Mod + Flower Mod, wrong choices during Install and Overwrite = Uninstall and Reinstall in the correct order

Vortex

Tree Mod + Flower Mod, wrong choices after picking LOAD BEFORE or LOAD AFTER, = changing LOAD AFTER to LOAD BEFORE, or vice Versa

You can also "tunnel Down" and overwrite Individual files in a more advanced screen as well.

If you read the built in KNowledge Base, you'll see that Vortex can do much MORE than NMM can do
