Dark Souls 1 Support

Well this teaches me to not report a topic to fast. It got locked before I could reply.

A user reported mods for Dark Souls 1 were getting installed to Data/dsfix/dsfix.

This would have been my reply:

Dark Souls is admittedly not one of the most popular supported mods. Support may have a few edge cases.

The mods I looked at had .png files at the base. They expect them to be installed to Data/dsfix.

Now if you get a mod that already has a dsfix folder in the archive, I would expect it to go in Data/dsfix/dsfix. This is incorrect but easily fixable.

Check your mod archive and see if there is a dsfix folder. If there is, rezip it without that folder. Just move all the contents down one level.

Once you isolate a specific failing mod, report it as a bug through Vortex. Staff is really good about fixing things that they know about. A lot of this depends on user feedback.
