Profile bleed over

So after a wipe and fresh install of Vortex and Fallout 4, I am using the profiles for separate things I want to do, Like one for sexy time and one for city building.
My City Building profile is set to Yes and Yes on game saves and settings and I never enabled any of the sexy time mods in the City building profile.
But the characters nude body is a patchwork of underwear and skin.

Now really this would not bother me since I'm here to build, but what concerns me is what other things might "bleed" over like that?

Is there a way to prevent it?
Mods to avoid?

First point. Any time you switch Profiles, hit Deploy. Have you ever installed mods for this game manually or with NMM?

 

Trusting that the save you are using on build mode was never used for sexy times.

 

Make sure your build mode has the FNIS data file disabled. Or run FNIS on that profile "just because".

 

Disable any body replacers in your build mode

 

If your description is accurate, switch to Build mode. Now go into game Data/Textures and Data/Meshes. Browse a bit and try to find what noes not belong.

 

Nothing bleeds from one profile to another if you are set up correctly.

All body replaces are disabled in build profile, and never enabled on in in build profile.
Just tried "Hit Deploy" and started a new game, no Joy.

Correct me if I am wrong but, I think FNIS is Skyrim. I am in Fallout 4 and not sure what the equivalent would be. AAF?

I will look in my character textures and see if I find something suspicious.

After all these years - Skyrim seems to get the most requests. Ignore the FNIS comment - wrong game.

 

Now in Fallout 4 - there is Bodyslide. Do you use that?

Also watch for skeleons - like ZaZ-ExtendedSkeleton.

Yes i have cbbe and Zaz installed on my sexy time profile but they are not enabled on city build profile.
I installed CBBE on my city build profile and it cleared up the patchwork.

I am really more concerned about other mods that could possibly bleed over.
Had a bad issue before my last wipe where my build limits were all wacky on all my profiles which is why I am avoiding scrap everything mods this time around.

Something else that might have helped you was run Bodyslide and select all the CBBE classes, including nude.

Mods will not bleed over. They can't.

 

Bring up your Build profile and hit Purge. That removes all the hard links.

Now look at your game directory. Anything not from Bethesda got there outside of Vortex.

When done looking, hit Deploy. All the hard links will be refreshed.

Q2: Why am I getting patchwork body textures (black shoulder, nipple on stomach or painted-on underwear)?
A1: You didn't follow the instructions in the installation section. Ensure you have entered all three lines into your .ini and all files listed in Troubleshooting are present in your game directory. Make sure the file is called Fallout4Custom.ini, not Fallout4Custom.ini.txt!
