Vortex disabling plugins

Okay so I'm new to pc gaming. My friend helped me set up Vortex, Loot, TES5Edit, and such. I was playing Skyrim normally, then exited. When I relaunched Skyrim, it told me I had missing files. I found all my plugins disabled, and when enabled them, it didn't matter. Every time I launch the game, Vortex disables my plugins. I haven't found topics about my exact problem, or it's just I haven't searched hard enough. But I'd like to get back to the game, and really need help.

Are you also using NMM or any other Mod Manager alongside Vortex?

 

Also, check any and ALL "loadorder.txt" and "plugin.txt" for each game, and each profile, located in the following directories shown below and see if they are set to READ ONLY.

If they are, set them back to normal. Right-Click on the txt file, pick PROPERTIES, look and see if the READ ONLY box is checked.

 

C:\users\<YOUR NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\<GAME NAME>\profiles\<RANDOM LETTERS>\loadorder.txt

 

C:\users\<YOUR NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\<GAME NAME>\profiles\<RANDOM LETTERS>\plugin.txt

 

 

Also, make sure you are NOT running Vortex, Steam, your games etc as an Administrator.

After the latest Vortex update, Vortex has been disabling my plugins too. Been playing oldrim. Closed the game, which was fine when I closed it down earlier. Came back to it, and when it loaded, my character was naked, bald, standing in the Sleeping Giant, which was what happened even earlier today when Vortex disabled my plugins. Logged out of game, checked, and sure enough my plugins were disabled again. Everything was fine before the last update, so I don't know what else I can tell anyone.
