Hey there! So, Apparently it's been more than 6 months since I last visited the nexus (I really didn't think it was that long). Please let me know if I did something wrong (I don't think I did, but... dunno how to do that shrug guy). Soooo, in looking for new features, reacquainting myself with the site, checking old mods, etc. I found the two-factor authentication. It's possible it was there the last time I logged in, but I don't recall.

Probably too much context so I'll get to my question: On the FAQ page: "By entering the code during login, you are verifying that you trust the new device and won't have to complete the two-factor authentication again for 30 days. This will happen for each new device you sign in with, ensuring that any new login attempts are approved by you, preventing others from accessing your account even if they know your password." Is there a way to see which devices are trusted and revoke it? Ok, more than one question cause I just thought of another: Is there a way to tell the compy that you do not trust the computer when you are logging in? I didn't notice such a check box or anything when I logged back in. If not... That would be very helpful. I can see myself logging into nexus on a library computer or something and forgetting to check the "do not trust this computer" box.

So, the suggestions: Perhaps a page in the FAQs section that points to the suggestions forum? I forgot nexus even had a forum and I was having a hard time finding somewhere that I could make suggestions.

#2: This suggestion is more to satisfy my curiosity than anything else, but it might help someone decide if they want to contribute to the sight or something. The thread/news post/something was interesting, but I was hoping for a graph, and maybe some actual numbers? I mean, you don't have to show everything, but maybe last years revenue and overhead? Up to yall obviously.

number tre!: and finally, the topic tags.... I went back to look at what other people tag, and not many posts tag, and the ones that do... are kinda random, so tags are kinda useless unless they are searchable right? As it is, you might have to try a lot of different combos to find the tag to the post you want. I was thinking, maybe a list of suggested tags, or only allow certain tags, or... maybe something I haven't thought of.

Hmm, apparently I'm rather more verbose on the internet than in person. Apparently I tend to write out the thoughts that usually takes a minute to get to my mouth. And the typing filter is not as.... dense? Curious... Well, If you got down here, I'm rather impressed with your patience. Don't have a reward for you though. Now tags.... Which tags....

Uh, also, How do you unquote? I had to make a new post cause I had like 5 "quotes" that weren't supposed to be quotes. Is there like an html view? I like how steam does their post formatting, but that may not be feasible here. Plus, I didn't get to finish reading the thing about how to avoid having to do the captcha every time. And I figure, I probably shouldn't make another post just to read it.... Suggestions?

Edit: Also, I'm not seeing any privacy options in the forum profile preferences. Therefore, Question: the stuff in "profile information"; how... private... is that? I would think that only friends can see that, but, I thought it best to not assume. I would suggest at least putting in some text regarding who can see what information on your profile.

Edit2: Apparently I have a lot to say. Sorry if any of this is redundant. It's been a while, and I didn't know what suggestions have already been made even 6 months ago. Anyway, the mods section account page; I could have sworn there was a link there to followed/favorite mods. Did that get nixed? There's a track button on the mod pages, but I don't know how to get to the list of what I'm tracking. And hopefully this is the last thing: how does the mod section's notifications uh, notify you. Email? So yeah...

There's a track button on the mod pages, but I don't know how to get to the list of what I'm tracking.

I was searching for the same thing today. I found it. It is a menu item under MODS and if you count up from the bottom it is the third one up called "Tracking Centre". (I can tell that this website was not written in the US, by the British spelling of Center. )

As far as the other stuff I don't know.

1 - Currently you can't review 2FA authorised devices, we are working on a completely new login system to replace this so it'll look different there.

2 - We have this page that may fill the need you're talking about: https://www.nexusmods.com/about/money/

3 - A nice idea, but IPBoard (the forum) doesn't support this feature so it's unlikely to be something we'll implement.

Unquote posts - I believe you just press the quote button again if you have it selected in multi-quote? May not be what you mean though?

Profile privacy - You can view you profile while logged out to see what the world can see, generally if it's on your profile it's public.

As nteth said, the tracking centre still exists but was moved into that menu in the last site redesign.
