I Know Who the DB Traitor Is!

Yeah after reading the thread about unmasking the traitor, I've been thinking about it myself.

 

Now I was playing last night and acquired Deepscorn Hollow (Vile Lair) who you inherit from a person called Greywyn who apparently has been "watching you".

 

 

So.... to cut to the chase. After a bit of snooping around I decided the traitor to the Cheydinhal Sanctuary has to be..........

 

Vicente Valtieri!!!!!

 

 

 

Heres why: Greywyn says hes been watching you for a long time, and has now decided its time you need to have Deepscorn Hollow. So who is this guy? Well, after reading his journal you find out he is/was a member of the "Crimson Scars". A group of assassins who were around BEFORE the Dark Brotherhood. But not just assassins, they were vampire assassins. They thought they could serve Sithis by sucking the lifeblood of the innocent.

 

They were wrong. Sithis disliked this and all Greywyns vampirish kin. The Dark Brotherhood proceeded to kill all the vampires in the Brotherhood, except Greywyn who fled, to Deepscorn.

 

After waiting around he knew none of his vampire friends were coming back, so he found a cure for his "illness" and removed the Vampire curse on him and once again served Sithis (hence the Shrine in Deepscorn).

 

 

Now.... So.... Vicente as we all know is a vampire... he says hes been around for at least 300yrs. Possibly the time the Crimson Scars were around? Sithis hates Vampires.... So why would Vicente still be here, worshipping and serving a God that hates him?

 

Plus, if Vicente is so powerul and old, surely he would have worked up the DB ranks over time, but no. He is still less worthy then Ocheeva. Possilby why there are having a "fling"... Maybe Vicente wants to sleep his way to the top.

 

 

Anyway, all of this seems to add up. I think Vicente is really a remnant of the Crimson Scars. Biding his time in the Dark Brotherhood waiting for the Scars to resurface and take back what is rightfully theirs.

 

Think about it, why else would he try to Convert you? And not just kill you.

 

Vicente was the traitor. He was working with Greywyn over 300yrs ago. And now he wants to recruit you.

 

 

Kinda makes sense now why they added Deepscorn in the first place huh? It ties in so well with the DB it cant be coincidence

In the game I never noticed anything that said the traitor was in the Cheydinhal sanctuary. The Black Hand were just being suspicious of everyone, that is why they chose you for the purification.

Sithis disliked his Worshippers to drink the Blood of their Victims. Vincente doesnt drink to much Blood appearantly, maybe he drinks only a few Pints of Blood or he drains completly different Persons dry, People who arent targeted by the Brassahood.

Mr. Valtieri is a Vampire since 200 Years ago, not 300. He claims he was hunting in Secret for Years before the Darkies found him and recruited him. He now has a "Family"which doesnt fear him but appreciates his unique Abilities.

 

Sithis doesnt hate Vampires. He hates it when they drink the Blood of People who are supposed to end up in the Void with Sithis. When Vampires drink Blood of People targeted by the Brothers, they are drinking Blood that Sithis would like to have. Sithis doesnt like that appearantly.

Sithis is a bit like Quark from DS9, who wont serve Drinks on the House.

That Khajiit A-Hole... Hm, I think he's quite a funny character. Doesn't beat M'aiq the Liar or Sheogorath though.. NEVER

There are 2 traitors actually.

 

Lucien Lachance

Mathieu Bellamont

 

These guys are basically the traitors trying to backstab the Dark Brotherhood.

There isn't any proof of Lucien being a traitor is there? The reasons given sound plausible, but without confirmation, it remains theory and speculation.

if you played through the DB quests AND listend to everything, you'd find out that Matheiu Bellamontis the traitor. Luchien was accused because of your dead drops being switched by Matheiu. Vincent is not the traitor, I always resurrect the old vampire, such a charming character and such a pitty that a useful vampire had to be wasted like that.

Yet I would have thought that breton was the traitor, if you read those "well hidden" notes around the place, the vampire doesn't like her as she puts garlic in the food to kill the vampire.

I'm afraid there is proof. When you find the traitor's diary, you head to Lucien's safehouse. Then you notice 3 Dark Brotherhood Speakers hanging Lachance like a piece of corpus meat. Arquen tells you he wanted revenge against the Dark Brotherhood. You take Lucien's place as a speaker, then you go to the Night Mother's tomb in Bravil. Mathieu will attack everyone.

 

Nobody really knows if Lucien is a 2nd traitor or not. So it remains a mystery. The Dark Brotherhood confirmed it though. So far, I noticed 2 traitors.

Ah but remember the Night Mother's words. when you become Listener ..She says to Arquen .. You fools..Lucian was faithful to Sithis to the end..Matheiu Bellamont was the traiter...According to the Night Mother..

I use the skip purification mod, I really do like Ocheeva and Teeneava to much to kill them..
