NMM won't launch SSE with mods?

So I'm hopping back into modding Skyrim SE again and I can't seem the launch the game with NMM and have any mods on the list enabled when playing the game.

They also do not show up in the mod menu in game.

Am I missing something? When I did this for Skyrim years ago, I just had to press the launch button, but I feel there's something else I need to do now...
