FNIS On Skyrim for Switch

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am trying to get FNIS working for Skyrim on the Nintendo Switch. I am using the Flower Girls mod but my animations are not starting up. I followed the instructions on converting the mods and used the 32 bit behavior files. I know a lot of people are having the same problem so it would be helpful if someone can point me in the right direction, just to let everyone know I am new at this so I would appreciate it if any instructions given are a little more specific and dumb down than usual. Thank you

Hi, you shouldn't need to worry about converting anything yourself.

I used the mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimnintendoswitch/mods/141?tab=files

For installation, you will need to add the esm/esp files to your plugin file in atmosphere\contents\01000A10041EA000\romfs\Data

ESMs will usually go first, ESPs can go later, typically put your FNIS.esp towards the end. Here's my load order for reference, relevent for flower girls are in bold:

*Gray Fox Cowl.esm
*FlowerGirls SE.esm
*maslea.esm
*Vominheim.esm
*Gray Fox Cowl - Alternative Start.esp
*Relationship Dialogue Overhaul.esp
*AmazingFollowerTweaks.esp
*Skyrim Unbound.esp
*EnaiRim.esp
*notice board.esp
*CBBE.esp
*KS_Hairdo's_Lite_NoNPCs.esp
*Immersive Wenches.esp
*raeza.esp
*Unlimited Sprinting.esp
*SimplyBiggerTreesSE.esp
*AmorousAdventuresPlus.esp
*FlowerGirls SE - Adventures.esp
*AKSkyrimUnderground.esp
*RM Sweater Dresses.esp
*Gwent Hearth Falkreath.esp
*Maslea_noMQ.esp
*Darkend.esp
*Midwood Isle.esp
*TheIsland.esp
*TheIsland_AlternateStartAddon.esp
*RRC_MarieRoseFollower.esp
*Remodeled Armor - Vanilla Replacer.esp
*FNIS.esp
*XPMSE.esp

For the BSA files, FG, animations and meshes will need to be added to Skyrim.ini. The step by step guide on nxtoolkit git wiki is really useful for where everthing needs to go, but I can try to give a quick overview.

Add the bsa file names above to

[Archive]
sResourceArchiveList=

should look something

[Archive]
sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes0.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes1.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa, Skyrim - Hyrule.bsa, Skyrim - Patch.bsa, AmazingFollowerTweaks - Animations.bsa, AmazingFollowerTweaks - Meshes.bsa, AmazingFollowerTweaks.bsa, Raeza - Meshes.bsa, RDO - Meshes.bsa, RDO.bsa, EnaiRim - Meshes.bsa, EnaiRim - Misc.bsa, FG - Animations.bsa, FG - Meshes.bsa, FG.bsa, nb - Meshes.bsa, nb.bsa, SimplyBiggerTreesSE - Meshes.bsa, SkyrimUnbound.bsa, KSHairdosLiteSE - Meshes.bsa, Immersive Wenches.bsa, Immersive Wenches - Meshes.bsa, ug.bsa, ug - Meshes.bsa, cbbe - Meshes.bsa, gw - Meshes.bsa, gc.bsa, gc - Meshes.bsa, gc - Animations.bsa, marie.bsa, marie - Meshes.bsa, rm - Meshes.bsa, re - Meshes.bsa, el.bsa, el - Meshes0.bsa, el - Meshes1.bsa, el - Animations.bsa, ma.bsa, ch - Meshes.bsa, ch.bsa

animation bsas will also need to be added to

sArchiveToLoadInMemoryList=

example:

sArchiveToLoadInMemoryList=Skyrim - Animations.bsa, AmazingFollowerTweaks - Animations.bsa, FG - Animations.bsa, gc - Animations.bsa, el - Animations.bsa

You will also repeat the same process for Skyrim_en.ini assuming you play in english, by adding the texture and voices bsa files to

[Archive]
sResourceArchiveList2=

so for example mine looks like

[Archive]
sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices_en0.bsa, Skyrim - Voices_en1.bsa, Skyrim - Textures0.bsa, Skyrim - Textures1.bsa, Skyrim - Textures2.bsa, Skyrim - Textures3.bsa, Skyrim - Textures4.bsa, Skyrim - Textures5.bsa, AmazingFollowerTweaks - Textures.bsa, Raeza - Textures.bsa, RDO - Textures.bsa, RDO - Voices.bsa, EnaiRim - Textures.bsa, FG - Textures.bsa, FG - Voices.bsa, nb - Textures.bsa, SimplyBiggerTreesSE - Textures.bsa, SkyrimUnbound - Voices.bsa, KSHairdosLiteSE - Textures.bsa, Immersive Wenches - Textures.bsa, ug - Textures.bsa, ug - Voices.bsa, cbbe - Textures.bsa, gw - Textures.bsa, gc - Textures.bsa, gc - Voices.bsa, marie - Textures.bsa, marie - Voices.bsa, rm - Textures.bsa, re - Textures.bsa, el - Textures0.bsa, el - Textures1.bsa, el - Voices.bsa, ch - Textures.bsa

Finally, it's also important to make sure there's no trailing spaces or anything in these files, the formatting needs to be very precise, otherwise things won't load properly.

also make sure to transfer all the files in the downloaded zip to C:\Users\chris\Documents\Switch Skyrim\atmosphere\contents\01000A10041EA000\romfs\Data.

Almost forgot! The animations sometimes take a while to start and need another animation to play to trigger the FG animation, if you're trying to trigger animations on followers try drawing your weapon/sheathing to see if it triggers. If it's with a randon npc then you might have a bit of luck by speaking to them to see if it triggers the animations. That's assuming everything above is set up correctly.
