Just found this trailer analysis by Trek Central. Looks like they going with post apocalypse (the controversial supernova event) Romulan's experimenting with Borg technology presumably to try and regain some lost power. Gotta love the lab sign saying 5,843 days without assimilation lol! Looks like they have control of a cube too. Considering Romulan's and Borg were my favourite villains from TNG this pleases me greatly.

I'm actually shocked CBS is still trying to tout CBS All Access as a good thing. Forcing Star Trek fans to pay extra for a service that is composed of a handful of watchable content feels pretty greedy and short-sided especially considering how bad Discovery is. Watch Orville instead. At least that show carries the spirit of Star Trek.

I find it amusing that they call it 'all access', and then require a subscription for it..... To me, that sounds a lot more like 'controlled access', or, in my case, "no access", as I outright refuse to pay them for something that has always been free. (aside from having to tolerate commercials.)

@HeyYou CBS commercials have more entertainment value then the actual shows at this point. I liked Elementary and Seal Team but I can't recall anything else even worth watching on that network.

It's had a troubled production but I'm cautiously optimistic now that Kurtzman has been sidelined.

That was fake news. He's still the show runner.

Michael Chabon is the showrunner.

Heh, hadn't thought of that :D

I don't know if I'll watch it, I really didn't care for Star Trek:TNG, I tried to watch it, but got so turned off of it in the first season I just quit, the only thing I watch are the Borg Episodes.

Plus, I really can't stand Data

I wish these access channels were around $1 - $2 so you could make your own lineup for a reasonable price.
