WETDUST Posted September 11, 2019 Share Posted September 11, 2019 (edited) so im using the YCS 186 Gauss Rifle Fix mod and noticed the YCS 186 "pipes" were the regular gauss rifles regular silver ones (a mistake im sure) and i want to change it to the brass-y copper-y color of the rest of the coil-tube(s?) i spent 12 hours and wasted my one day off a week trying to figure it out to change two little pipes, and not one step closer to figuring it out. i WANTED to contact the creator of the mod and ask them for help, but they haven't logged in in SIX MONTHS. someone please fix this. im about to snap. pic related. VAULTRENEGADE Posted September 20, 2019 Share Posted September 20, 2019 (edited) If it's solely a better appearance you're after, you could always just rip the assets (textures/meshes) from EVE which are newer and probably look better.... Granted, properly mapping the textures to the mesh would likely require some finesse with the GECK. dubiousintent Posted September 20, 2019 Share Posted September 20, 2019 Friendly word of advice. Please see the Nexus "Terms of Service". You are not allowed to offer to pay someone to mod for you. You can ask and they can volunteer, but "pay for service" gets into a legal situation the Nexus doesn't want. Suggest you edit your previous post to remove that offer. The place to make such requests is the "Mod Requests" sub-forum.
