So I havent played NV in over a year. Was working 100% previously. Havent touched anything, but now I come back and all sorts of things are happening.

Have tried reverifying steam files. Havent uninstalled and reinstalled game yet, but can do if needs be

Havent introduced any new mods (though I want to) I know I have a fair few running, but there where never any issues at all last time I played

Load list included in pics

One thing I have noticed now is Mod manager wont sign me in. I am using Version 0.63.11. I am using correct username and pw (obvious one to check) but wont allow me to sign in at all.

Crashes happening all over the place. sometimes during initial load up, most time in game. Also has issue at times when the load up starts, but wont allow use of controller or keyboard. Ive tried a combination of normal running through steam and the fnv4gb.exe. Both give the sa

any help would be appricated. I'm at my wits end here!!

A lot can change when you step away from a game for even a month. Windows system updates can break old versions of plugins unless you update, drivers can get updated, and web sites can impose changes.

As of 08 May 2018, the Nexus has changed some site security to come into compliance with the new "European Union General Data Protection Regulation" (EU GDPR) rules. This breaks older versions of NMM and other tools using the older unsecured API. It is usually reported as being "blocked by the Windows firewall" or causing a "script" or "W3C XML Schema" error installing mods. You will need to update it from NMM on GitHub. Check the version numbers between those sites and use the latest release. Please see this Nexus site news article for details.

As of 13 May 2019 all "workarounds" that depend upon continued use of the old API will no longer function. That API has been removed, as previously announced more than two years ago. This includes but is not limited to:
* Nexus Mod Manager v0.65.11 and lower
* Mod Organiser 2 v2.1 and lower
* Mod Organizer 1
This only affects their ability to login to and automate the download from the Nexus site. You can still use them to "manage" your plugins with downloaded mods.

Some people are finding that even after updating NMM they still get a "script exception" message when installing some mods (such as UIO and MCM). This seems to be resolved by this suggestion from user ElysianMod:
* Run NMM as an "Administrator privileges" account.
* Go to NMM "Settings" (the "double wheeled gear" icon on the menu bar).
* Enable "Add Shell Extensions for Supported File Types".
* Then restart NMM. (You should not need "Administrator privileges" this time.)
(Supposedly this fix is included in update v0.65.12 and later to NMM on GitHub.)

Bottom line: make sure you have updated your manager version. If you still believe you have a problem with an updated NMM, report it as a bug to the GitHub project team.

Once you have gotten past your mod manager problems, you need to update your "support utilities" such as NVSE and JIP LN NVSE. Those in turn may require you to update mods that depend upon those utilities. There is no shortcut except to check each mod for it's latest version and requirements.

I recommend anyone read the entire "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with; especially if this is your first attempt to play a modded FNV or it's been more than a year since you last did so. It's been constantly updated, so think of it as a "refresher" on things you may have forgotten about or never even knew and managed to avoid.

Please see the 'Vanilla Load Order' entry in the 'First Timer Advice' section; and the 'Common Game Problems' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article.

If the problem persists, then see either the 'Solutions to Starting the game problems' or the 'Solutions to "Crash To Desktop" (CTD) problems' sections in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

Finally, if all of that still leaves you stumped, come back here with specifics. Please provide ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. Don't forget to identify things that do not appear in the "load order", such as if you are using a "regional language version" of the game (even if you are playing it in English); using the FNV4GB Patch, NVSE and it's related plugins; replacements for textures (specifically their larger image sizes: 1024x1024, etc.), animations, or "bodies", etc.; and "post-processors" like ENB or SweetFX. It saves us playing "20 questions" and gets you a more specific answer more quickly. (The usual turn-around on post and reply in an older game forum is 24 hours.) Screenshots don't usually work so well because they tend to cut off or fail to display needed information and are hard to "piece together" into a complete and coherent picture.

* See "How to markup images (etc) in forum posts and comments" article for how to use "Spoiler tags". LOOT already includes those tags in the "load order" it copies to your clipboard, so you can just paste it's list into your post.
