I just downloaded a mod that I'd like to play on the XBOX, unpacked it on the systems hard drive under the downloads folder, but have no clue as to what I do with it now. Any help is appreciated. AGreatWeight Posted September 17, 2019 Share Posted September 17, 2019 No, you can't use mods hosted on Nexusmods onto XBone, the mods that appear on this site are for PC only. If you've found a mod here that you'd like to see ported to Xbone, you'll need to check the permissions to see if the author allows the mod to be ported (or if it already is)If the mod author hasn't already ported it and doesn't have the time or inclination to, but is willing to allow it to by another mod author, the next step would be to find someone willing to port the mod - best to look for someone who knows what they're doing (I highly recommend contacting Chucksteel over on Bethesda.net, as he's well known for porting numerous mods over for Xbone users to use, and as long as you gain prior permission and generally be polite, he'll likely oblige if he's not busy) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lockups happen on the pc version and the XBOX version with or without mods enabled. I'm level 281 as the character that I'm playing, and have 3 other characters with over 30 days of play time accrued. It's a shame that Bethesda can't cure this issue. So, the mods you download for PC where uploaded for PC and formatted for that platform by the Creation Kit. Same for XB and PS, those mods are formatted for the particular platform at upload. When you connect to Bethesda.Net to download mods, Bethesda presents you with the mods which have been formatted for the platform you are on. So you cannot download XB mods onto a PC, or vice versa, via Bethesda.Net; unless there is a severe bug on their end.
