Mod pictures - slow image arrival on mod pages

Just to let the team know that many images on mod pages take a considerable time to load in place.

It's been like this for some months.

I appreciate at busy times this might happen. But nonetheless it's frustrating waiting and waiting for an image to pop in.

I've sometimes given up and moved on to other pages.

I use UK broadband fibre.

I just ran a test on a picture on a Skyrim SE mod page - 50 seconds before it arrived on screen. 50!

 

Perhaps it's something you may want to consider for site improvements.

I can confirm this. And really slow speed of mods bigger than 200 MB, even for a lifetime premium, like me.
