Unable to "manually set location" for Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Hi!

I just bought Kingdom Come: Deliverance via Origin Store and when I was try to set up the location on Vortex, its been unable to locate the .exe

The expected direction - according to Vortex - would be: [....]/bin/Win64/KingdomCome.exe

However, on Origin Store install the executable is in here: [.....]/bin/Win64MasterMasterOriginPGO/KingdomCome.exe

I would like some help on how can I set this up.

Thanks in advance.

I used both, but when using the "GAMES---->MANEGED----->SET LOCATION" is when the error come to.

The "add search directory" also do not find the .exe

I really start to thing that this may be due to the fact that Origin Store place .exe in diferent folder that Seam :(

Hey Tsyell,

Currently Vortex is not able to recognise a copy of Kingdom Come Deliverance as the folder structure is inconsistent to the Steam/GOG versions.

I've let the devs know about this issue and it should be fixed in an upcoming release.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. :)

Kingdom Come Deliverance on the Epic Games store

We are aware that the current release of Vortex cannot properly identify the Epic Store version of KCD. This is due to the "Win64" folder being named "Win64MasterMasterEpicPGO". While our developers work on updating Vortex to support this version, we have a workaround.

1) Navigate to "KingdomComeDeliverance\bin" and copy the "Win64MasterMasterEpicPGO" folder. Rename the copy to "Win64".
2) Launch Vortex, head to Games and use the search to find Kingdom Come Deliverance.
3) Click manage game and point Vortex to the "KingdomComeDeliverance" folder.

Vortex should now be able to install manage mods.
NOTE: You must launch the game from the Epic Games store. The Vortex launch button will produce an error as the EXE is secured to prevent this type of launch.
