Would I be able to move those two games along with the installed mods over to the SSD without corruption or having to reinstall mods through the mod manager? HeyYou Posted November 17, 2019 Share Posted November 17, 2019 Clone the HDD to the SSD, then change the drive letter of the ssd, to what the hdd was. You can leave the hdd in, with a different drive letter, or, just disconnect it, and use it as a backup. Macrium Reflect has a free version that will let you do that. Or are you installing it in the machine as a secondary/slave drive?If you're installing it as a replacement, how are you going to be connecting it to the machine for copying the files over? The difference is night and day.I LOVE Macrium. :) Even the free version will do this for ya. And yeah, going from a mechanical drive, to an SSD, is a MAJOR performance improvement. sauhan77 Posted September 11, 2020 Share Posted September 11, 2020 Hi, I'm planning on replacing my HDD with skyrim on it with a new SSD for games... will this work with the symlink-structure of NMM if I just copy all the files with FreeFileSync?
