If you're walking in third person and then switch in stride to first, you'll continue to walk. But the moment you stop, you run again. This keeps me from playing in first person. Instead of jogging, Arthur will start walking. Tap it again and he'll jog again. Keep in mind that after every time you sprint (holding the Left Shift), the jogging will be back as it is the default movement speed. Just tap Left Shift again and you'll walk again.
