The shaming of non-premium users needs to stop!

Recommended Posts

There's no need to keep reminding us that certain features like uncapped downloads are being locked behind a paywall. And there's no need to keep harassing and begging for donations and memberships. Let us use the site and download files in peace. Not everyone wants to pay for features that SHOULD be free.

Well well well. I have become quite popular. Over 70 posts and 1,000 views, And of course fools defending anti-user practices. It's your money. You wanna keep lining Robbin's pockets do what you do.

And I also notice how the mods download has changed. To spite us non-premium users no doubt. Nothing you(Nexus) do will make me pay up. If anything I'll support smaller sites like modDB and LoversLab to help bring some competition to PC modding and an end to the Nexus monopoly.

Quit the theatricals. No, those features shouldn't be free because bandwidth is really bloody expensive. So are servers and all the other infrastructure that comes with serving a website this large. Nexus has the right and should advertise their premium services more to make them more visible, not less, and it's in no way harassment. Your post comes off really ignorant and entitled on the whole.

Funny that it's the non-paying people who complain the loudest and make the most demands.

If that would have been from the very beginning, i'd say right. But, some things as the cap limit on downloads has appeared just yesterday. (or at least, to me)

So what, the bills became too high just now? Meh.

What does this have to do with the topic of this thread?

That's odd, considering the Nexus INCREASED the Cap Limit on downloads from 1 mb to 2 mb about 2 years ago now.

Lot of tin foil hats coming out in this thread.

As i said, it appeared that warning TODAY to me. Either we're talking about different things, or uh i don't know, my pc decided to not show me that before. Anyway, i downloaded files much heavier before, so... Boh?

What exactly is the warning? Are you possibly confusing a cap on download speed with a cap on download size? On Nexus Mods, there is no size limit. The only limit is your computer and your ISP.

Download speed cap was always there, you're just throwing a tantrum now because you've been directly told what it is.

Wonder if people like you realize just how expensive it is to run this site.
