Skyrim Refusing Run

This isn't the Bethesda Logo crash that i've seen when doing my research on this, this is i believe to be an SKSE issue or something to do with my modding as i can load into Skyrim just fine without having any mods on through Steam. I don't know if SKSE is up to date and that might sound silly but as I said I am new to modding and It's hard for me to tell. I've uninstalled and Re-installed Skyrim twice in the past 48 hours and even moved off of Vortex which is when i originally encountered the issue to where i'm at now in Mod Organizer 2 Where I came across the issue again. The game refuses to open when done through Mod Organizer 2, Through SKSE directly and through my SKSE shortcut on my desktop. Now i have ZERO idea what could be causing this issue, I did link most of my Mod list into this post and hopefully someone understands what I'm saying and can help me. Hopefully this can be worked out before I lose my Skyrim itch.

source for the LE skse ?

OP is on Special Edition, not LE.

To make sure that SKSE64 is up to date, always get it form the official SKSE site. You should get "Current SE build 2.0.17 (runtime 1.5.97)" (press F5 if it's showing an old version). It was updated only a week or two ago, so there may be some SKSE mods that haven't been updated yet. You can look for any mods that contain a DLL file in the Data\SKSE folder and try to disable those to check. Check the Data tab in MO, or search through the MO mods directory. They won't appear in the actual Skyrim folder since you're using MO.

The small part of the MO log showing in your screenshot shows that you tried to run SkyrimSE.exe and not skes64_loader.exe. What happens when you run skse64_loader? Does it show the Bethesda logo?

I've tried to redirect people to the right forum before, but quickly got sick of it so I just accepted it.

It doesn't help that:

  • Many people don't know that there are two separate forums.
  • Many people don't know that LE and SE are different games.
  • Sometimes Oldrim mods work on SE, and the cause isn't always obvious when it doesn't work.
  • Skyrim is listed at the top of the site forums, and Skyrim Special Edition is listed in the middle.
