This post is a little bit long.
Whenever I attempt to play Skyrim (modded), I cannot play as a female because the game instantly crashes, and it also instantly crashes whenever I try to exit through a door (playing with Alternate Start). Everything else, fighting, collecting and such seem to be good.

Game has all DLCs, not Special Edition, using Vortex, since Nexus Mod Manager is outdated, and I also use Loot.
This is all I currently have (my computer is a bit of a potato but could run Batman Arkham City on medium settings without much lag). It's kind of frustrating not being able to play Skyrim, but some mods required for a few of these don't exist anymore, thus, I don't know what to do. :(

Get Skyrim Script Extender: SKSE for your game too.

You can free up some trouble by adding three parts of ini commands into your Skyrim.ini.

Open the My Games folder and find your Skyrim folder with the Skyrim.ini.

Open the ini page and under General put that line with the number.

[General]

bUseThreadedAI=1

Move down to Havok. Add the the lines. Threads are the number of Cores your CPU can handle.

You can experiment to see if 2, or 4, will help keep your game running smoothly. That will at least assure you, the cores are being used and give you knowledge for settings in the ini's for games.

Use 2 on both the following. Or 4 on them both.

If if doesn't have Havok in the list just copy and paste all three into Skyrim.ini at the bottom of the page.

[Havok]

iNumHavokThreads=2 or 4

iNumThreads=2 or 4

After you choose 2 or 4 for them then SAVE.

Do not cross them so one is 2 and the other is 4. Both should have the same number.

I just did it for Skyrim. I set for all the threads in the CPU on mine. It made it all work fine. Don't jump to any conclusions that this will solve your problem.

I use Mod Organizer 2 and it works for Skyrim Classic just fine. When it first starts it gives you pop up guided tour to get started quick and easy.

And it integrates with LOOT automatically if it finds it. Mod Organizer 2 and LOOT saved my games settings from cramping up, because of mod conflicts and such.

Hey, can you edit the ini file and send it to me?

Deedee has gone. Any help she can give you is all available here on Forums.nexusmods.com.

Search a little bit and you won't be sorry.

She set up the game I like so I can play it until her return. All she gave me to post in that page up above for the Skyrim.ini is just a part of a friend of hers. That person's support here. All you have to do is search for it in the Skyrim Game's section of the Forum.

Before she departed she said I can type in Skyrim.ini in the Search engine that section of that forum for the game.

I'm happy :happy: to read you have the game working again.

I pray for everyone's safe return.

Have a good one!

It seems I encountered another issue, I've noticed that ever since I started playing Skyrim, or any other game, it shuts down my PC monitor.

1st open your original Skyrim.ini. The one I recommended you make a copy of. Open the one in My Games in your Skyrim Game.

Compare changes you made to your Skyrim.ini and check the settings compared to your copy of the original.

If all you see are the same in both then, when you used the STEAM; VERIFY files switch, it likely set them back to the Default Skyrim.ini.

Since you have an NVIDIA video card read posts with that kind of card for making your game machine work smoothly.

And while you're at it, Download GeForce Experience from the Nvidia website. It can save you a bunch of headaches since you have an Nvidia video card.
