missing masters

So I downloaded vortex

I downloaded mod

I installed the mod and enabled it

the game Crushed

And I got the eror missing masters

vortex says I'm missing '' dragonborn.esm ''

But listen, I never bought / installed any DLC

And the mod I installed doesn't need the dragonborn dlc to work

(A Quality World Map) But it's not just for this mod, it's the same problem for all modes (when the mod disabled the game work perfecty)

I have the regular version of skyrim (original from steam) not the special edition

please help me!!

you are wrong in your assumption

from the mod's description:

 

Greatly improves the quality of the World Map, including accurate hand-drawn roads. Choose between having All Roads, or just the Main Roads. Also includes the Solstheim map from the Dragonborn DLC

notice the end, and also note that there are no separate plugins for the mod

this means that the mod does require the Dragonborn DLC in order to work

this isn't a Vortex issue, this is an issue of you not having the DLCs which are required for most mods out there

 

the DLCs themselves are rather cheap, add plenty of decent content and many mods require them, so I would suggest that you simply get the DLCs

otherwise, you would have to be far pickier about which mods you decide to download, and also more diligent when reading through their descriptions, as the DLCs aren't always noted in the requirements tab

This is actually the mod author's fault.

Go the the Map Mod Page CLICK HERE and download THIS older version, this only has files for Skyrim and not Solstheim.
