Crash when disabling certain mods

When I have both RSChildren and USSEP enabled, I get the infinite loading glitch on menu. I heard latest update of USSEP isn't compatible with children mods and I'm okay with that. The real problem is, when I disable either RSChildren or USSEP the game just crashes. When I disable all of my mods the menu loads but when I try to load a save, it crashes again. I don't know what to do.

If you uninstall or install a mod mid game it many times borks your game. If you are trying to load a save which is after you have played the game for a while what is happening to you is normal. You must start a new game after disabling RSChildren or USSEP. I would keep USSEP and uninstall RSChildren and then start a new game.

Yeah, there's no way I'm starting a new game. My character is level 53 already. And many people just disabled the RSChildren mod after the update and kept on playing. I'm just trying to understand what's the problem with my game.

Perhaps one or two of these "many people" who disabled the mod and kept on playing will reply to your post and explain how to do so.
