wrye mash for multiple games

so i was wondering if using separate wrye mash ways for both morrowind and oblivion i am planning to play on my new laptop for christmas.

i know how oblivion wrye mash works but how does morrowind wrye mash work?...

is it safe to use separate wrye mash files one for each for morrowind and oblivion? like let's say i use wrye mash for oblivion already working and figured out...does morrowind need a separate unique wrye mash for it's own game?...and let's say if so-having separate unique wrye mash file systems-is it safe to have both on the same computer and can safely use each for each morrowind and oblivion on pc?

or is it better to use nexus mod manager for both games?

i have windows 10 64 bit on my new laptop upcoming i think...once i get it, can i also have instructions on how to do this-even for oblivion from the ground up instructions?...even for ground up instructions for all of both morrowind and oblivon working on the same laptop?...thanks...and let's just say my upcoming laptop will be for sure windows 10 64 bit as i'm sure i'm gonna get this upcoming christmas pretty much for sure...

sorry for all the questions, any help would be greatly appreciated...i'll be playing morrowind and oblivion on my new laptop original while i wait for some answers...

thanks...

yes, i am clear to saying i'm using mods.

Mash=Morrowind Bash=Oblivion and 4get what the Fallout games Wrye's called. Yes. You can have multiple instances. Mod Organizer 2 I hear is now compatible with Morrowind so that's another option for you on Mod Managers. You'll be using Wrye to do certain "clean-up" steps on Save Games n other things, so even if you use a Different Mod Manager... One would still want Wrye for its "repair-ability" of Save Files and other stuff w/ the Mod Files(like Updating Mods).

Install your Games Outside of the \Program Files\ folder on account of UAC errors.

I got 4 Wrye's on my PC right now for dif. Bethesda titles. No communication problems at all. They run as they should when I want them too. IOW No probs.

Here's a Guide that use to be a STEP guide on Morrowind, here on Nexus. I'm not going to tell you step by step of what to do. If you're new? Get reading :P Although having exp. w/ other titles will help :) If it were me? I'd do the guide then the mods you want. If you don't use a Mod Manager, your \Morrowind folder will be a mess and if you have any errors, from any mods, having a Manager manage those problems would be best :)

so i'm not sure how to use wrye mash for morrowind when i looked at it. i know how to use nexus mod manager but i accidentally deleted my Games folder early on on accident. considering my new windows 10 64 bit will have Games folder, i do know how to install nexus mod manager. so hmmm, i mean will having nexus mod manager with morrowind and a wrye bash for oblivion-would those 2 work?-kinda like having a wrye mash for morrowind and a wrye mash for oblivion?

so then i would have nexus mod manager for morrowind and wrye mash for oblivion.-i know how to not use oblivion at the same time as morrowind on nexus mod manager, i just learned how to do it on youtube. considering i do these things, would it work as well as having separate wryes for both morrowind and oblivion?...thanks again if any help.

so i mean is having nexus mod manager as dependable as wrye mash for a game? would having both work like wryes?

just asking because i know what to do for sure with my new laptop with morrowind on 'nexus mod manager.'

Here's a Guide on Wrye Mash. Just UnZip the StandAlone into its own folder under /Morrowind. If your going MO2 then You'll have to setup and point MO2 at Wrye Mash's exe location and run it inside MO.

You are still thinking Wrye Mash is a Mod Manager. It is BUT it does so much more. If u want another Mod Manager to do the "managing" then just do that and ignore the "installers" tab in Wrye Mash. It won't hurt and you will want it's features. Especially the "Repair All" on Save Games.

Personally I'd go Mod Organizer, but I'm fluent in it to the point I'm comfortable. It's a different beast. But there are many guides on how to set up. It IS worth it in the end. On vortex(Nexus Manager), I believe it has Virtual Folders also, but don't quote me on that

That might be accurate for the older versions, but Sharlikran posted a link to a new Wrye Mash wiki at the same time he have made some improvements to WMSA.

Bad advice about using MO as a mod manager when Wrye Mash is the only mod manager one wants to use for a modded Morrowind.

I don't think running WMSA inside of MO will work and I know some Morrowind mods won't work with MO.
