Game Crashes 5 Seconds After Main Menu Appears

So i load my game using the F4SE tool in vortex,it shows a black screen for 5 or so seconds (im pretty sure thats because of a mod that removes the Bethesda intro) it then loads the main menu and whatever i do be it not clicking anything or trying to load a game as fast as i can it always seems to crash after within 5 seconds of the main menu loading with no error message in sight.

 

So far ive tried:

Re-Installing Fallout 4

Using BethINI to Reconfigure My ini files

Running the game in borderless windowed mode

Running the game offline

I have no antivirus but I have tried running it with my firewall down to no avail.

 

At this point i think it might have something to do with my load order which is below. vvvvv

Well guys i did the classic mod no worky thing and just uninstalled all my mods then reinstalled mods one at a time until it crashed and apparently Take Cover https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10875 was crashing my game, not sure why. So I uninstalled that and will now proceed to go on with my day.

Heyas! Well, I'm glad to see that you got it sorted out. And thanks for posting your finds, as it may help anybody else who reads this. As well as to give us a lead on what might be a problem child in somebody else's load order.

Now you should try the game with just Take Cover installed and see what happens. I've used that mod (v1.01) without any problems in a load with over 500 mods of which 400-and-some had a plug-in (lots of ESL plugs of course). So, maybe also first try v1.01 to see if that works. It wouldn't be the first time that a perfectly working mod starts screwing up one's good mood after an update.

 

When using NMM, keep it updated.

I have the same problem, i load into fallout 4 and after about 5-9 seconds not matter what im doing, it crashes. i dont have take cover, nor ever have. so im stumped

Is that after loading a game? Or, does it crash before you get that option? If the latter, that's a missing master crash. One of your mods wants another mod, that isn't there, or isn't installed properly.
