MrI3rakesy Posted January 15, 2020 Share Posted January 15, 2020 So I found one of my favorite mods ever, The Dwarven Aetherial Bow by mahty https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4409?tab=description and I was inspired to draw (not well) a redesign for it that would compliment the feel of the bow. I have always felt that it had a really Dragon's Dogma vibe to it, Magic Archer was my favorite class and so I wanted to emphasize the aesthetic of the magic bows in that game. Attached is a picture of the idea. I loved the idea of the bow being a projection, but I never really liked mahty's Dwarven Gun looking contraption, instead i thought it would be cool if it came out of something equipped on the wrist or a gauntlet, the latter would have course mean the holster would have to be moved to the wrist whereas the former it could just kind of pop on there when equipping or unsheathing it. The most amazing thing for me would be if the scroll work could draw itself out from the center when it is unsheathed and for the arrows to grow from the source or be themselves "drawn" into existence by pulling back on the bow.
