Deleted48714688User
Hi, that´s my problem, my game always freeze in the same spot near a dwemer ruin. anjenthedog
Have you pushed your savefile through Fallrim tools? Sometimes there's a rogue script(s) or references that is/are left behind that can cause issues which lead to CTDs.
JimmyRJump
Deactivating mods often isn't enough. You need to uninstall them. You also need to know if the game also froze in that spot in vanilla to be sure it's not a GPU and/or RAM issue. Also, what do you mean with 'freezing'. Is it temporary? Do you need to close the game? Does the game crash after the freeze? Does the audio continue during the freeze? Which Dwemer Ruin? Do you have mods that change this ruin or all Dwemer ruins? Please be specific about every detail of the problem in order to get help. The Nexus crystal ball is in repair ;)

No, I don´t know how to use that tool Based on your reply, I suspect you were replying to me and accidentally quoted your own post. Fallrim tools is a tool that we use to rid save files of code bits that are left behind by errant mods, uninstalling mods, etc... code bits that can cause issues in the game if left in place... (like CTDs, potentially freezing, and so forth) If you don't know how to use it, I'd recommend that you visit its web page and learn how. It's a very good tool to have for skryrim players. it's also quite easy to use, although the first few times, it can be a little bit intimidating. There is a tutorial video linked in the mod page for Fallrim Tools. of course, it's your choice. Here's a lhk to the page in case you're interested. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5031 regards
JimmyRJump
Instead of Fallrim, try BethINI first. Cleans your ini files from errant entries that shouldn't have been there in the first place and also takes care of entries left behind from uninstalled mods. You can always use Fallrim later. Algabar
When troubleshooting CTDs/freezes in certain spots, the systematic approach is to test with a new game first. Start a new game, then go to the location where the CTD/freeze occurs. If it also occurs on a new game, then it's most likely a mod issue. Next step would be to look for mods changing that area or quests related to this area and disable them one by one, until you've found the culprit. If you can't replicate the issue in a new game, it's a problem with your save game. Leftover data from uninstalled mods. A savegame cleaner is practically your only option then. JimmyRJump
If you can't replicate the issue in a new game, it's a problem with your save game...()... Except when he installed a mod midway through that needs a new game to work properly.

Been doing so all along with out issue. As well as using Vortex without issue. As well as disabling and enabling mods without issue.
