BHUNP not working for SSE

hi everybody, pretty much in the title. I've installed BHUNP for SSE along with anything else it required, keeping my mods to a minimum until i sorted this out but basically everything seems to be working except that the BHUNP body doesn't load, just the vanilla body. I check once i'm out of the character creator but no luck, i've attached pictures of my modlist. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

[update: I installed CBBE and was able to use that body or at least remove all clothing but was still unable to modify it in the racemenu, no longer going to use CBBE as i prefer BHUNP but hopefully this helps]

[update 2: Installed UNP Female body renewal 4.6, was able to remove all the clothing and do some scale changes. BHUNP might just be incompatible with SSE even though it was in the SSE section]

[update 3: Installed Bodyslide and outfit studio for some reason i forgot to do it before, used batch patch to some success with BHUNP although some of the physics don't seem to be working and some other stuff. Will mess around with it for a while hopefully i'm able to fix it since it seems these forums don't get alot of traffic.]

[update 4: have had some success in fixing it but the breast physics don't work on a nord character although the Ygnord seems to work and i can no longer edit the body outside of the BHUNP options. If anyone has any advice to fix these new issues i'm open to it.]

I'd recommend going to the BHUNP mod page and working within the "posts" section. Few read these forum posts, sad as that is. And even fewer actually respond to them.

 

Anecdotally, I am using BHUNP on a couple of followers, and it works as well as 3BBB does for my CBBE player, using the BHUNP 3BBB Advanced Ygnord as the bodytype, haven't tried or needed to try any other type. (also using the corresponding ygnord feet and hands).

 

Using BHUNP - UN7B preset for one of the followers, can't recall the other follower's preset. trying to figure out the correct body preset to use for a few others.

 

to be clear, I'm not seeing any weird behaviors for any of the features, and I am NOT using SMP. I use CBP only.

Thanks i'll try that. I do have CBPC installed but i think also SMP for something else, i'll try disabling one.

To be clear, I meant that you might want to opt for CBP only when installing either 3BBB or BHUNP. I use SMP items like wigs and clothing without issue, It's the body that is at issue. And if they show up in your list of optional bodies for BHUNP, avoid the SMP Havoc variants.

 

Of course, you can choose whatever you want to do, it just seems that CBP-only is the least problematic, even if you don't get the additional thigh bounce it offers.

yeah i tried only enabling CBP and not SMP when i reinstalled BHUNP, no physics for the tits for Ygnord or Nord so i guess i'll just settle for playing as a ygnord since it won't work no matter what for nord.

Did you select the BHUNP 3BBB Advanced ygnord outfit/body? It works for me. I haven't attempted to use the BBP or TBBP variants though, so I'm not sure about them, but I definitely get bouncy breasts for the 3BBB I use for my refits on Hikari and Sha.

 

and to be clear, you have sinful CBP installed and running? (just in case, you have to enable sinful by setting the update time)

Didn't have that option just "Install Ygnord race" and i do have sinful CBP installed and everything seems to be working.

That's odd. I installed BHUNP and have two dozen BHUNP body pieces. Some are hands and feet, but for Outfit/Body in the Bodyslide application (where you'll assign them to your player or a UNP follower that has bodyslide xml, or a dummy folder you can take meshes from to apply to an existing unique follower with no bodyslide (takes a little finagling) ), there's

• BHUNP 3BBB
• BHUNP 3BBB Advanced
• BHUNP 3BBB Advanced SMP Havoc Path
• BHUNP 3BBB Advanced SMP Havoc Path ygnord
• BHUNP 3BBB Advanced vag ref
• BHUNP 3BBB Advanced ygnord <<<< this is the one I chose.
• BHUNP 3BBB SMP Havoc Path
• BHUNP 3BBB SMP Havoc Path ygnord
• BHUNP 3BBB ygnord
• and then a bunch of BBP and TBBP variants (which I'm too tired to list)
• and as well a whole bunch of matching feet and hands to go with the bodies

 

ANd.... there are a slew of BHUNP presets to use along with them (afaik you need to pair a BHUNP body type and a BHUNP preset)

 

PS> when you build, don't forget to check the build morphs checkbox and make sure to build correlated hands and feet to avoid seam issues.

I had chosen BHUNP TBBP advanced, i might try the one you chose just hope it doesn't mess everything up. Joy of perspective seems to hide everything but the arms atm so hopefully it fixes that too. [Edit: tried it and another, no difference. Joy of perspective either shows nothing but arms or there is no physics might try looking into bodyslide more for a fix]

Just remember to build the hands and feet too. and check build morphs...

 

I'm not exactly sure what the differences are between TBBP and 3BBB are, (TBBP is older isn't it?) but the Preset, not the Body, is what determines player shape, so there shouldn't be much difference overall, at least visually...as long as you use the same preset you used prior.

 

My guess is that 3BBB will just give you more places that jiggle, that's about it. (again, I'm presuming TBBP is an older spec, and so presuming it doesn't have as "sophisticated" a response to the jiggle stuff and collisions). But in terms of working vs not working (if that's what you're alluding to as to why you might switch), I *can confirm that 3BBB advanced definitely works like advertised. I probably said it already, but I'd recommend sticking with a CBP-only use (ie, avoid the SMP Havoc Path), due to SMP's hit on clock cycles, ot to mention, using SMP is just more complicated (spells, etc)

 

if you're running a male character though, I don't have the faintest clue what differences there'd be. ... personally speaking, I'm not terribly interested in giving my male character breast or butt bounce anyway :wink:
