CTDs in Riverwood & general troubleshooting request

Hi,

while in and around Riverwood i ctd every few minutes randomly, sometimes after talking to an npc, sometimes when saving, sometimes when i just walk around. Didn't happen in interiors....yet.

A few of my mods were for Oldrim (mostly texture/meshes replacer). I ran them through Cathedral and then fixed their Form Type via CK.
All mods which needed cleaning, according to LOOT, were cleaned in xedit. I also checked mods I didn't aquire from Nexus.
Distant LOD was first created with high setting, but I changed it to medium setting since then for troubleshooting.

I didn't create a merged patch ....yet, since I couldn't be bothered to merge plugins....yet and i have bad experience with creating merged patches when not all plugins are loaded, but since a merged patch can only handle 253 plugins, yeah, that's why i didn't create one...yet.

I don't know if that's an issue caused by having more than 253 plugins active or not, but when creating the bashed patch wrye bash doesn't mark plugins as contained in the bashed patch (so you know you can deactivate them), that's why i only deactivated the WACCF leveled list plugins.

I used Fallrim tools once on a savegame after the first few crashes to get rid of few detached scripts, but it had no observable effect.

Any constructive input on the problem with the ctds or my load order and mod composition in general are welcome. Thanks.

quick update: i tweaked my loadorder a bit (not much), rearanged my bashed patch and did some manual editing of the bashed patch in xedit, though only leveled lists, so i didn't expect it to help against the ctds.
anyways, i tried again how the game works outisde riverwood and it worked flawlessly, 4 hours no ctd, but when i got back to riverwood, ctd after 5 minutes, so it's definitely something which is present in riverwood or the problem gets amplified there.

going to deactivate riverwood specific stuff now, like player homes, trying to delay uninstalling etac as much as possible.
