I'm getting stuck here:

I thought maybe "WaitingForProcess" was saying the game wasn't open, but it is open. Even going into a session or a quest doesn't seem to do anything. Anyone have any idea?

Ran SmartHunter as admin and it fixed it right up. Guess I should have tried that before I posted, :ermm:

Guys can you give me your thoughts about this new feature that I'm working on

Is the server code going to be publicly available?

 

Is there going to be one central server everybody will connect to? Or will players run their own servers?

 

 

1)Nope as it is encrypted and only the server owner can access the DB (but since the lobby and sessiond IDS are encrypted they are useless) Sorry i misread yeah I can make it public for sure

2)As for now there is only one server

My take on it:

 

Your server will most likely melt under heavy load during prime time (especially during the upcoming Safi feeding frenzy), which will render it useless, give this feature a bad reputation, or both.

 

My suggestion would be to allow players to host their own servers, one server per group, probably run by the leader. Writing a socket server supporting three clients is far easier than writing one supporting thousands of clients, too.
