Is it possible to create a MOD where animals leave me and the AI the f*** alone? I want to be engaged by the AI but the animals are relentless and everywhere and it ruins the free roam to have all animals constantly harassing you as you gallivant around, or to hear a frantic and massive firefight break out because a dog crossed the road, and a tiger behind him, and mean giant bird afterwards, and a buffalo soon after, and a curious jaguar wondering what all the noise was about... Ideally the animals should hunt each other.

Is that possible?

Maine Crude in a roundabout way pointed at one of the ones that initially rung a bell: caiman and boa constrictors. For this situation, however, the situation of predator/prey is likely an impression of size (ie. the two gatherings don't look for the other at all phases throughout everyday life, they would likely possibly pursue each other when they are bigger).

There are a lot of examples, but they tend to be at different ends of their lifespan, so it might not be what you're looking for. IE lots of predators eat the offspring of other predators. Snakes and birds, birds and other birds, amphibians and insects, mustilidae(weasels, etc.) and rodents, many many animals.

Several examples exist, but most are at different stages of their lives, so there isn't likely to be what you are looking for. In other words, many predators eat the offspring of other predators. It is not uncommon for snakes to coexist with birds, birds to coexist with other birds, amphibians to coexist with insects, mustilidae to coexist with rodents, and many other animals.
