Not All Conflicts Show at Once

I've recently started using Vortex for New Vegas.

1. Once thing I've noticed that is quite annoying is that when it warns me there are conflicts it won't show me all the conflicts if there are relatively a lot. Meaning I have to click the conflict notification again and sort them until all conflicts are resolved.

Is there a fix for this?

2. Another question, why can't I manually move around the plugins like in NMM? Seems like a step back in that regard.

3. Why can't I edit the info of mods, such as name and version, like in NMM?

4. Is there a way to have mods "deploy" when I install them? It seems unnecessary to have to install a mod, and then also deploy them.

Have to say, I think the notification system is a bit odd. Would be better if there was a bar on the bottom of the programme with tabs that displays downloads, downloaded, and "notifications".

Just my queries and two cents.

OK, going to have to start all the way back, and explain everything that's already been covered in the forums for the past two years....

1. What are "relatively A LOT" of Conflicts? Are you just installing tons of mods en masse? The thing is, not all FNV mods are packaged correctly for ANY Mod Manager, and they need to be extracted and repackaged to work properly.

Unfortunately the Older Games, like Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas weren't packaged properly for Mod Managers because at the time, Mod Managers were just coming out, so Modders were archiving their mods with the intention of installing them manually, as there was no "Standard" yet.

2. The "Manually Move around plugins like NMM" is a horse that has been beaten to death since 2018. Do a forum search for "Manual Sorting" and you'll find hundreds of threads to answer your question.

3. Another thing commonly answered here in the forums, and covered in the Built-in Knowledge Base, DOUBLE CLICK on the MOD in the MOD TAB, A Panel opens up on the RIGHT, then EDIT the Name etc of the MOD you installed.

Last, but not least....

4. DEPLOY When Enabled = SETTINGS------->INTERFACE----->DEPLOY MODS WHEN ENABLED

Thanks for your response.

1. Well for example, I just installed two mods, a popup came up to tell me there are unresolved conflicts. I clicked on it and sorted the conflicts out. Then I went to open a tool in the dashboard section and a screen came up saying unresolved error in the form another load order conflict, which I proceeded to sort out.

The thing is, why was this latest conflict not listed a few moments before when I previously sorted conflicts?

I proceeded to click the tool to launch it again and I got another unresolved error regarding choosing load order came up and again I thought: "I just actioned this, why were these conflicts not all listed at once".

4. I have done this already on my own, but a popup will still come up telling me to deploy mods. Is this an error?

When that popup comes up telling you to deploy the mods, are you deploying them?

Because a Conflict Resolution needs the mods to be deployed in order to overwrite/underwrite the files that were conflicting
