We all like things like curing Father of his cancer or keeping him as a companion, even, having people from the old days too (Project Valkyrie, Curie, Codsworth for the love of...) Much is made of applying medicine more generally and fixing silly moral bottlenecks hardwired in by Bethesda. So my question is this:

 

Why can't you have a healthy Mama Murphy right up to that damn dose of Psycho? Seriously! If you so much as give her that dose of Jet at the start she punks out of being assignable and languishes in a chair. I can understand temporary debilitation, but temporary or at least treatable! She's been shuffling between chems for decades now. The woman knows what she's doing and there's medical wonder out there.

 

In the name of making forced quests into something sensible, I beg thee out there to make Mama murphy's drama truer to form for the Commonwealth!

I've wanted her to live through all of the visions if you give her mysterious serum or something.
