FINAL UPDATE (VERSION 3.0)

IMPORTANT

Please be aware that version 3.0 will not work with saved games already using previous versions of the mod. Unfortunately, due to the extensive changes made, the versions are incompatible. If you have previously generated DynDOLOD for a previous version, it WILL NOT work with version 3.0 and will need to be regenerated. There are also a few other known issues to be aware of covered in the FAQ.

UPDATE OVERVIEW

The final version of the mod is now available and has been brought forward to version 3.0, bringing it in line with the LE version of the mod. The aim with the final update was to provide the polish needed and add a few additional features. The mod has been re-scripted from the ground up with many of the assets reworked with textures and design.

BUG REPORTS

This final update and partial rework of the mod took me approximatly four week, much longer than initially anticipated and I've spent that time addressing many of the minor and major issues the previous version experienced. Please feel free to continue posting any bugs you may come across in the Bug Reports section of the mod page and I'll consider returning to the mod if there's anything major that needs resolving.

THE FUTURE

My focus going fowards is on finalising a couple of other projects before moving onto new mods and eventually new games. You can explore what I'm working on via my website and over on my Twitch channel where I regularly stream mod development.

Thank you all for your continued support and I hope you continue to enjoy the mods I release.

FINAL UPDATE NOTE FOR VERSION 3.0.

Three important things everyone needs to be aware of:
1.  If you have installed version 1.2, and discovered both Dawnstar and Morskom Estate, then you will have to start a new game, because of the extensive rebuilding of the scripts and the textures Darkfox127 did during this update.

2.  You will absolutely without a doubt HAVE TO regenerate DynDOLOD when you update to this version of the mod from an old one, or if your installing it for the first time.

3.  If you use mods that alter or change anything to do with Shrines, such as Trua - Minimalistic Faiths of Skyrim or Wintersun - Faiths of Skyrim then make sure that Morskom Estate is loaded AFTER those mods, to prevent them from causing any bugs or issues with the shrine you build in the house hallway.

BEST playerhome on skyrim clearly, it's so cool, so cosy, so much features, and the designs are very beautiful, a fantastic work, great job DarkFox.

Morskom is a must have for me since I discovered it and I can't thank you enough for that.

Just a small question, as the screenshots seem to be for version 1.2 and older and as I need to wait for a new play-through before installing it.... You mentioned you have new custom carpets in version 3.0, so the old changeable carpets are no more, or is at least one of them still around?

I am just asking, as I always duplicated them with Jaxon Positioner (your carpets having had an activator made that easy) and placed them and color adjusted them in other houses that were in dire need of decoration.

I still need to update the screenshots this week to reflect the changes to the mod. The new rugs are done in the same way with activators so you can move them around or duplicate them if you wish and then swap them out. Just be aware they may look odd as stated on the FAQ until you save and reload. Bit of a weird alpha thing with SE.

Hi, two things, DynDOLOD is giving me an error for the LOS2 patch when opening it to regenerating LODs, it says

[Main Instruction]
MELOSBrazier [STAT:FE03BC11] has invalid ObjectID 014C11 in MorskomPatchLOS2.esp for a light module (ESL).

and also, if I get this right, I can savely upgrade from 1.2 to 3.0 on a save as long as I have NOT visited Dawnstar/ Mörskom during that playthrough, is that right?

Same issue when running TexGen 1st. Tried running it through SSEedit AutoClean, returned this message:

[00:00] Error saving MorskomPatchLOS2.esp.save.2022_05_04_11_27_54: Record [REFR:FE000D19] (places MELOSBrazier [STAT:FE000C11] in GRUP Cell Temporary Children of DawnstarExterior01 [CELL:00008EB4] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at 8,25)) has invalid ObjectID 019D19 for a light module. You will not be able to save this file with ESL flag active

Hope this helps troubleshoot for a fix.
