HeirOfTheSeptims Posted March 15, 2020 Share Posted March 15, 2020 Whenever I try to make a new torch item, even if it is an unchanged duplicate of the vanilla torch, I get a weird bug where on equipping it my character does a animation as if they are lighting a brazier. Then my screen locks up in 1st person view (but not 3rd) and if I try to move the REALLY weird stuff happens. Last time I tried moving resulted in me getting teleported to he last door I'd walked out from and the game autosaving. Does anybody know how to fix this? cumbrianlad Posted March 15, 2020 Share Posted March 15, 2020 I don't know, but since you mentioned that 'Wearable Lanterns' has them, why not open the esp, extract the BSA if needed and use Champollion to convert pex files to psc (if needed) to read the scripts? See how they did it. That way you can reverse engineer it. If there's an aspect of this mod that you need to use, check the mod download page for permissions and see if the author needs permission to use the assets that you need. If they do, ask them for permission. I've just asked Lupus78 for permission to use some of their assets and was given a hearty 'thunbs up'.
