After character creation, when you're escaping the dragon in the first city/keep, after I kill the first two stormcloaks, whenever I try to take the male Stormcloak's Cuirass my game CTD's, I was wondering if anyone could let me know if there is anything wrong with what I have, and if so, point me to the right direction to getting it solved, preferably without getting rid of any of my mods.

 

I am using Nexus Mod Manager btw

Usually, a crash when looting a body means there's something in the inventory of which the game doesn't have all the assets and is unable to load the items since they're not in the game. Or the body you are looting has the wrong textures and when that body is denuded when you steal the clothes, the game crashes.

 

Make sure you have installed CBBE and the SG Female Textures renewal properly. And use LOOT to sort your plugins.
