Garruski Posted March 29, 2020 Share Posted March 29, 2020 Hi there, just looking for a single-function mod to remove the loud 'sssssss' of enchanted items when you enter a room/building (things on the floor or on plaques). I don't want to install an audio overhaul because I'm very satisfied by 99% of vanilla sounds, also trying to save space. How feasible is this? IsharaMeradin Posted July 18, 2020 Share Posted July 18, 2020 When an enchanted item gets loaded and that item has "active" effects, those effects activate (they can't be active if the object is not loaded in memory). You're going to want to look at the magic effects associated with the items in question and either remove the assigned sound FX or change it to something less bothersome.
