Is it somehow possible to make new custom icons for the map markers?By that I mean the little symbol that shows up on the compass / on the map.i haven't found anything like "map marker type" in the Creation Kit. ChuckYufarley Posted April 1, 2020 Share Posted April 1, 2020 I made one for my Yuvend mod. Indeed I had to swap it out with an existing map marker, so I just swapped it for the Swan's Pond marker, since it's only used for one location. Then I simply substituted a generic pond marker for the Swan's Pond location. As to how I was able to create the marker, I'm afraid at this point all I can tell you is I used JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler and Photoshop to accomplish this. For example, all the settlement map markers with the same icon (maybe the farm one). I'm not looking to add new icons into the game I want to change what is already there with ones in the game. But, I just realized something: The DLCs (specifically NukaWorld) have "custom map markers" (Map marker icons that are not "included" in the "vanilla game").And they are just esm files and some archived stuff. So technically a ESM file (with the correct interface file stuff) CAN "add" new map marker icons to the game. Now I just need to figure out HOW ....
