CTD when loading in/out of buildings

Hi, im trying to play my modded skyrim but it keeps ctd when loading in and out of buildings.

I've tried many methods, searched for literal hours, reinstalled all my mods, vortex and skyrim countless times but i always find when i try and load anything it crashes.

 

Weirdest thing is loading into an out of mines doesnt ctd? And this has been going on for a year now, i've been hesitant to get help because im really shy :sad:

 

I first realised i had ENBseries installed with no ENB and uninstalling it fixed it for a while then when i got ambitious with my mods it happened again, for about a month now.

I first tried only installing body and armour mods for females and males, without alternate start and it worked, then adding some landscape and texture mods it broke again.

When then reinstalling all my mods again with alternate start i saw it was working again until i tried exiting the bannered mare where it crashed.

I then started in Dawnstar and loading into mines was fine! Then loading into the Jarls hall, and Inn crashed.

I started with Winstad Manor and loading in and out of that worked fine (Only problem was i couldnt build anything else with the house so i abandoned that save :sad: )

Then tried starting in Solitude near the port and it worked until i tried using a carriage to get to whiterun and it crashed again.

 

I'd really appreciate some help because of the stress this has caused me plus im under quarantine with coronavirus and stuck in my room for two weeks :sad:

 

I wouldn't say im great at modding or understanding it but ive tried my best so pls be kind :sad:

Just like many others who are having problem with the similar issues, if you want to keep your sanity from being overstressed with it, then consider to mod your game from the start. In other words, start from zero. For example, try to follow "How to start & stability" in this guide: https://www.sinitargaming.com/skyrim_graphics.html

Follow it thoroughly, then test your game before installing more mods. Keep it minimal, test it first, make sure your game runs fine, then install more mods. Remember: don't get too ambitious in modding Skyrim if you want to make it work. You have to be patient and mod it step by step. Don't be hasty. Now, try it and good luck.

 

Additional personal notes on your specific issue and load order:

I've never used any of SL mods, so i can't say much about them. But the one exisiting in your load order here, ie. Beeing Female, seems quite script intensive. Not sure, but it could be what's causing the lag, freeze, or ctd in your game, because as far as i know (anyone is free to correct me if i'm wrong) it fires it scripts to check surrounding actors (especially females), then run any necessary functions to them. Means that when you're going outdoors, the scripts will fire into so many npcs (because there are more accessable npcs outdoors than indoors) causing the lag if your system can't handle it. So, my advice is, try to look for other more stable, modern, and performance friendly alternative of such mods, for example you can try this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/87456/

This mod is compatible with SL, is updated and still maintained by the author, and overally look more stable. So try it out as an alternative.
