Auto fighting system mod?

I'm wondering if possible to create a mod that it makes your own character behave as AI (NPC) companion when fighting enemy? Something that apply AI script on your own character. I tried to use console commands and selected my own character and then tai or tcai but nothing is happening. If I use the same commands on NPC's it works and it disabling/enabling combat AI. If anyone could find the solution I could reward with $$. This could be either for Fallout 3/new vegas/fallout4

I don't think it is possible with the actual player. What you need to do is use an NPC as a stand in for the player.

Then shrink the player to sit on their nose for example ... which then you move the player along with them in a script . A bunch of Getpos and SetPos commands going on.

Or if you don't care about first person view , they can just hover above or where ever.

Thats my 2cp worth on it ... So Pay up :armscrossed:

hehe LOL

I have got someone saying:

Can't say I've seen anything exactly like that, but you can make the player AI driven. Suppose you could try throwing the player in a Quest Alias containing some combat override packages and after turning the player to AI driven, attempt to have them run on it.

Any thoughts?

Would that be in the Fo4 engine ?

Unfortunately which engine has been mentioned is unclear(but likely FO4). But either way if it would work on any FO3/NV/FO4 would be great

Having the player AI driven is an Fo4 feature ... I guess they added so they could have the PC voiced and do animations with it. Not really sure if or how that would work for combat. Since I don't have Fo4 and never plan to get it. Will only be modding that engine if Fo76 gets modding support for their private servers , and it doesn't suck.

But there is no such thing in Fo3 and FNV ... so you would have to do it with an NPC stand in for those engines.

However it just occurred to me there is a way through scripting that uses control press commands. Basically mimicking someone actually using the controls. But that would prove much more script intensive I'm sure ... an probably not as good a render as an npc could do with their already set up combat style.
