jjb54
There are likely three possible answers: First - the flood of users with a lot of Nations - People are homebound due to China Virus and thus using their computers A LOT more. Second - Your Internet Service provider might be on the high use of their Band Width. Third - Try a different Nexus Server?
Di0nysys
Same here. Really slow download speeds on Supporter membership (~6kb up to 30kb), with downloads stalling shortly after starting. Must be the heavy traffic going on atm.
DankTemplar
This is why I will never buy premium again. In Canada, we have something called an implied warranty and by not providing something remotely close to that advertised downloading speed they are not selling a good or service which is fit for it's intended purpose they're in breach of contract. Serious terms for a small issue...but this issue has been going on for years and Nexus staff always push back when they full well know the issue is that when they get busy, people get stuff like 500kb download speeds if they're lucky. Maybe they need to hire someone who's well versed in statistical analysis to sift through their network traffic and figure out what exactly the issue is, if the Nexus staff aren't already aware of it. I know that servers cost $ to run...but when that's your primary function; a file hosting site for mods...and you mess it up...that's pretty bad. I hate to be that "You had one job to do" guy but that rings pretty true here. Anytime there's any influx of users, the site dies in a tire fire. That's a sign you need more or better servers. jjb54
I have to be honest here - I am a Premium Member and I've not really noticed any slow down. So I have to wonder if there is something else going on. I am not trying to create a flame war, but I am aware, because of friends in other countries - that there could be some issues, which have to do with Internet Providers in other countries. Especially w/the China Corona Virus and A LOT of people being home and bandwidth challenges.
