Hi,

 

I'm new to modding New Vegas, so I followed Sinitar's U.L.T.I.M.A.T.E modding guide https://www.sinitargaming.com/nv.html. I have installed all the graphics/ texture mods and decided to go with Mojave Veteran gameplay mod list to further add to the game. After installing Project Nevada and the subsequent patches recommended by Sinitar, my game now displays the "missing master" error and loads into a starting screen with no options. Other forums online recommended I use NVSEdit to figure out the error. According to these forums, NVSEdit is supposed to stop when it encounters an error, which never happened for me. To be sure it wasn't Project Nevada, I uninstalled it and lauched the game again. Same issue. At this point I'm really not sure what it could be. 

 

I was wondering if anybody can help me out. I have included screenshots of my load order and NVSEdit (just to make sure it didn't actually show the error at the bottom and I didn't know what it meant) below. 

PS: why do I have way more mods than plugins? I'll include a SC of my NMM below as well.

To start with, the load order is wrong, the game must load all esp files under esm files so from the start ,that's a problem.

EDIT: And your missing the EVE.esm file so yeah, not gonna work.

You have way too much in your data folder.  You need to remove about 90 .esm/.esp files.  Then try to game to see if it will run.

 

Did you run the game without mods to make sure you have a stable game?

 

Did you add all the mods hoping the game would run or did you load a couple at a time and check in the game to see if it would run?

EDIT:  I see some changes were made from the older versions, any way..please install this to fix Project Nevada sort order bugs with  loot, Loot will correctly sort the esp and esm with this patch.
