Skyrim SE mod staging folder issues

So i had a hdd die on me that contained my old modstaging folder and game files. vortex was on a different drive itself and i cannot figure out how to fix it to where it will forget the old mod staging folder and allow me to use another one. anytime i try and change the folder it says it cant deploy and that i can instead force it to reintialize. when i do that it tries to access the old folder in the cratered drive. is there a workaround or way to cleanly wipe everything so i could start fresh?

Try this

1. Uninstall Vortex

2. Start -> run -> %appdata%

3. Scroll down the vortex folder, and delete the VORTEX folder.

4. Re-install Vortex.


That will reset EVERYTHING
