NjordHalfhand Posted April 17, 2020 Share Posted April 17, 2020 (edited) I see Vortex installing and uninstalling my mods into and out of the Mod Staging Folder but not in my Bannerlord 2 Modules folder. Mostly having issues with updating mods and uninstalling. It seems that Mod updates via Vortex's "update all" feature are only applied to the Mod staging files and not the actual game folder files . When I uninstall and completely remove a mod from Vortex, the supposedly uninstalled/deleted mod is still sitting in my Bannerlord/Modules folder. What's going awry? Tokashi Posted April 25, 2020 Share Posted April 25, 2020 I have the same issue, I updated the latest Vortex and then 2 Versions of Bannerlord appear in the Games section. Now I tried to install a new update of a mod and it does not appear in the Modules folder. I have not changed ANYTHING, I just installed a brand new mod and it does not get installed in the correct folder at all. Something is wrong with Vortex and requires investigation please. The primary reason I used Vortex was to keep all my mods up to date and to cut down on management. Having to manually delete old versions of the mod in my Bannerlord Modules folder then reinstall the entire mod for every update because Vortex is doing odd things is actually more of a hassle than just doing it all manually myself. So when I uninstall a Bannerlord mod via Vortex, after it's uninstalled, why is the mod still sitting in my Bannerlord/Modules folder? When I use the "update all" feature via Vortex, why aren't the mods in my Bannerlord/Modules folder being updated? What's the disconnect between the Mod Staging Folder and my Bannerlord/Modules folder? It seems that uninstalling or updating of files is only occurring in the Mod Staging Folder and not in the actual game Modules folder. bksianzz Posted April 25, 2020 Share Posted April 25, 2020 (edited) im having the same issue with bannerlord, tried removing, reinstalling, the mods... tried logging in and out, tried reinstalling vortex... still the same.Mod is installed in staging folder, but missing in the actual game mod folder Edit: Reverted back 1.1.15 and it works now... i realize in the latest version (1.1.29):1) it did not prompt for elevation of permission when enabling mod (it did in 1.1.15)2) there were 2 bannerlord games listed (only 1 in 1.1.15)Hope this information helps, for now just stick with 1.1.15 Edited April 25, 2020 by bksianzz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
