Problem with using custom NPC as a preset on CK.

So I would like to use a custom follower as my character preset and I have been trying to do it on Creation Kit so I wouldn't need to rely on Racemenu and I can use ECE also. so I thought perhaps I could do it by duplicating the custom race the mod uses and the NPC actor object and using a separate one with for the preset changed some settings.So I thought making a race would allow me to do it. I've set them all to playable and non-essential. I'm getting the hair but the face looks very different. It definitely didn't import the face properly. It is a custom face so i'm not sure if it's even possible :huh:â I have all required mod's installed and the follower is flagged as .esm. I'm not going to publish this it's just for me :happy: (it's not my follower) I like learning about CK just confused to how I can get the face to look correct I have the custom .nif of the face and it looks good.

 

Or maybe do I have to go into face tint layers and base head parts and copy them? They look the exact same because I duplicated the race.
