RetiredMaster Posted May 21, 2020 Share Posted May 21, 2020 I had the same issue. For me Souvenir's Light Pillar worked great until it decided to cause an Unrecoverable error. When I looked at it, in Vortex, it clearly said Souvenir's Light Pillar and a lot of of stuff I don't understand. Reinstalling Vortex didn't get rid of it. I had to completely remove Vortex, then reinstall it. That got rid of the Unrecoverable error, until I reinstalled Souvenir's (It had been working before). I got the same Error, had to remove Vortex, download/install my mods (without Souvenir's) and it's been fine ever since. I like Souvenir's better than the one I'm using now, but... AsteriskAmpersand Posted May 26, 2020 Share Posted May 26, 2020 (edited) Using vortex to install mhw mods is a fantastic way to get into install situations that make no sense and can't be debugged by the modder themselves. You should do a binary search of your mods, enable half, then enable the other half, find the problematic half and repeat that on that one till you zero in the mod that causes the issues. It's likely the skill indicator or some mod that is modifying files that get outdated on every patch. Or consider installing them manually without vortex and see if that works fine.
