Help: Armor & Weapon & NPC & Exp Scaling

Recommended Posts

TL;DR Suggest some scaling mod(s) for Armor, Weapons, NPC's(enemies & friendly), and Exp progression for a new playthrough.

UPDATE:

I've just found an NPC scaling mod that I'm going to try but more suggestions are welcome. The mod is NPC Level Scaling by Genamine: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15961

Realistic Guns and Bullets Overhaul by guidaye: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9343 - Note not sure if this is compatible with the two mods below??

Fallout 4 Custom Patch by bretton: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/33058

THRIVE - A Balance Overhaul by bretton: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/32143

During this dysfunctional time (shout out to Covid-19) I find myself trying to keep busy at home as well as at work. I'm a full time medical practitioner working at what the news coverage is calling "the frontline" - Sounds like WAR TIME. As a time filler I've decided to fill my hometime with a variety of games, mainly RPGs. A new playthrough of Fallout 4 has taken the leading role. I've added my chosen mods, made some tweaks and then began my journey in The Commonwealth. I've just the minute stopped playing because I've realised my choice of mods is rushing me and I need this to look and feel more linear, more natural, and better progression. I'm looking for some suggestions while I also search The Nexus!

I have just under 100 mods installed; the key mod that has rushed my playthrough was Auto Loot. This mod is an absolution to the majority of my OCD packrat problems. HOWEVER - Even after I switched off the weapon and armor filter I still felt like my item progression wasn't quite right. The base game vanilla progression isn't great and there are definitely some mods out there to fix what bethesda left us.

The issues I which to address are convoluted but the short and sweet of what I'd like to modify is TL;DR at the top of this post.

Thank you in advance.
